AGOT23 just came via UPS. She is a Christmas surprise for my daughter. She came in pigtails and I was very surprised. Do all the AGOT come with their hair in pigtails to match the outfit? My next question is should I leave her all tied in her box as is for my daughter to open her brand new in box Christmas morning or should I take her out and redress her in an outfit that she also asked for???? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

All of mine I have received have had their hair in ponytails, except for #26, who came with a hairnet on! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Maybe you should leave her in the box....as a teen, I know that I like to get the doll out of the box myself. When I got Kit for my 11th Christmas, I came downstairs and Kit was looking up at me, still in her box. I will always remember that memory.
My vote is going to leave her in the box as is.
Marisol came with pigtails too.
Congrats on your new addition to your family's doll family! I think it would be more special for your daughter if the doll was still in the box.
You could change her clothes and then put her back in the box. I've given a couple of ebay dolls as gifts and I just fasten them in the box just like new. You could put the Meet clothes in the box from the other outfit. Either way I bet your DD will be happy.
If it were me, I would want to leave her in the box as she is, because I love to change my dolls' clothes, so I would want to be able to change her into my favorite new outfit. I also liked the idea of being the first one to touch her. It just took some of the newness away if she was exactly the way I expected her to come, based on what I had seen in the catalogue. Maybe that's just me.

When I was young and received my first AG doll, I remember the moment of opening up the box for the first time and seeing her in there, brand new! [img]smile.gif[/img]
I guess I would leave her and wrap the outfit up separate.. she will have an even bigger suprise when she gets the doll, as well as the outfit! [img]smile.gif[/img]
Thanks everyone. I WILL leave her in the box and that will also give her something to do Christmas day...dress her and style her hair. Now my daughter keeps talking about Marisol UGH and overlooking the AGOTs!
